About the Event
Due to low numbers we are postponing this course until Sept/Oct 24.
A chance to re-use and upcycle everyday items into new items.
Basic sewing and knitting skills, a love of craft and a creative imagination very useful but not essential!
You will need to provide some item's but many haberdashery and art/craft stocks will be available/provided for you. Some weeks you may be asked to begin some preparation at home.
Week 1 - Denim
Love your jeans. We will take a pair of your old blue jeans and make anything from cushions to bucket hats.
Week 2 - Beach Glass
Make cards or pictures from lovely Guernsey beach glass.
Week 3 - Newspaper
Turn the Guernsey press into paper roses! Learn a simple (less messy) way to make Papier Mache items.
Week 4 - T-shirts
Turn your old T-shirts into yarn and knit or plait and sew them into mats for your bathroom.

The Location: La Menardais, La Route de Sausmarez, St Martins, GY4 6SG There are a number of spaces at the property or parking can be found a 5 minute walk away at the upper section by Iceland.
Cost: £60pp. Please make sure the transfer is carried out 14 days before the start of the course to secure the space on the course. Please let us know as soon as possible if the space is no longer required. Missed weeks cannot be refunded or transferred.
